Conservation of Aberffraw sand dunes

Aberffraw is located on the South-west coast of Anglesey, North Wales.  It is named after the village and consists of a dune slack system!

Beavers in Bamff, Perthshire in Scotland

Bamff is a private beaver collection in Perthshire, Scotland. Wood was on the menu but had the beavers slipped out the back door and eluded us?

Bangor universities botanic garden at Treborth was the scene for a day of getting to grips with wetland biodiversity with a wetland plant ID course. A visit to Malltraeth marsh rounded off the evening!

Borth bog, a real hair raiser!

Borth Bog or Cors Fochno in Welsh is one if the most well preserved examples of a raised Bog in Wales!

Tale of the two peatlands! Cord Erddreiniog and Migneint

A return trip to Cors Erddreiniog, eastern Anglesey took us to look at the some of the important management processes in place. It also took us to the Migneint blanket bog, an area of peatland stretching over the counties of Gwynedd and Conwy in North West Wales.
